1945, Amelia Earhart Returned to the USA in a B-29 from Tokyo with best friend Jackie Cochran. JC went to Tokyo to see her friend who was in a hospital there recovering from years of being held prisoner. AE had been found in a Japanese run prison in Southern China by US military. Gen. Curtis E LeMay, commander of the B-29s arranged for both flights.

Amelia's last plane was a WW-I "ACE" single seat biplane with the Serial #1. LeMay helped Amelia Sell this plane in the winter of 1959/60. Jackie Cochran was a witness on the plane's Bill of Sale transferring title to "P. K. Anderson". This plane was later placed in the "Wings & Wheels" Museum in North Carolina, going up for auction when the collection was "Force Sold". Some aircraft from the Andy Anderson collection went to the Smithsonian Aircraft collection.

Why do I have this information and the City does NOT know about this? They do KNOW the truth, but telling LIES has become a habit for the so-called "City Fathers". I learned about Amelia Earhart's return to the US from 4-Star General Curtis E LeMay, by direct conversation. This conversation took place sometime during the autumn of 1959 between General LeMay, Louis G "Andy" Anderson and myself (at age 13), in the dining room of Andy's home southeast of Mansfield, MO. Andy and the General were friends and business associates, helping each other on various historical aircraft projects. Andy was commissioned by the U.S.A.F. to build a 1:1 replica of Calbraith Perry ("Cal") Rodgers 1911 Curtis - Wright EX bi-plane for the 50th anniversary of the First US Transcontinental Flight. The reason I was there was Mr Weeks, one of Rogers 2 original mechanics was 15 years old in 1911 when he helped Rogers make the historical flight. The General wanted to use Andy's replica for a re-enactment of the flight and needed a 15 year old mechanic for the trip. Both Andy and Mansfield R-IV High School Principal, Charles Calame a long-time friend of the General, recommended me for the opportunity.

During the 1950's there was a lot "Politically" happening in South Missouri. President Harry Truman was fast closing the lead mines that had made him and a few friends very RICH. A USAF Missile base was built east of Fordland, later closed and made a State Prison. Mountain View, MO: June 1954 on a Sunday afternoon over 1200 people witnessed a major happening, but were threatened to the point of FEAR for their lives. Springfield "News & Leader" reporter Frank Farmer had written a Front Page Story, carried the previous Monday. This story brought people of ALL ranks to a rural area known as the "Buck Nelson Farm".
